The meeting of the Ambassador of Georgia at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) once again confirmed the importance of cooperation in the respective field

On March 17, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Revaz Lominadze, held a meeting with the President of the Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL), Professor Martin Vetterli, and the delegates of the international affairs unit of the institute.

The parties spoke about the ongoing innovative projects at the institute's laboratories, the implementation process of these projects as well as the prospects of cooperation with Georgia in this regard. The importance of opening the Horizon Europe office in Georgia was especially noted. During the meeting, possibilities of cooperation between EPFL and the Georgian higher education institutions, as well as plans for organizing joint events between the institute and the Embassy of Georgia in Bern were discussed.
