Ambassador of Georgia met with the Director of the Institute for Peace and Dialogue

On 20th of February 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Revaz Lominadze held a meeting with Dr. Fakhrinur Huseynli, Director of the Institute for Peace and Dialogue (IPD).

During the meeting, the security challenge in the South Caucasus and the European continent, the current situation in the occupied regions of Georgia, the peaceful conflict resolution policy of the Government of Georgia, as well as important regional and international projects were discussed.

An agreement has been reached between the both sides on future cooperation and implementation of specific joint projects.

The Institute is one of the leading organizers of numerous successful international academic trainings and research programs in Switzerland in the field of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, mediation, security, intercultural dialogue, leadership and human rights.
