On May 28, 2026, the Embassy of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein hosted an official reception in Bern to celebrate Independence Day of Georgia.
The event brought together representatives of Swiss federal institutions, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Swiss Confederation and representatives of the Georgian diaspora. The invited guests were addressed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, H.E. Shota Getsadze.
During the reception, the national anthems of Georgia, the Swiss Confederation, and the Principality of Liechtenstein were performed, followed by a selection of distinguished Georgian musical compositions.
